SJAS Summer camp Prêles 2019

Waking up at the farm Breakfast at the farm Today we woke up at the farm. We had slept on hay (which we found surprisingly comfortable). After breakfast, we took there trains and then hiked the remaining length up the mountain and to the house. In the afternoon, we had a music workshop and we wrote another verse of the camp song.  For dinner, we had hamburgers and after we had wellness night. We painted our nails, did our makeup, got massages, and got a hand scrub. Then we celebrated Yvan's birthday with cake and went to bed.  Sofia A.  Let's go to hike back! Yesterday we woke up at about 7:30 to the most boring breakfast EVER. so today was a special day because it was the only day we would sleep outside of the house , and the only day we would have a full on „2 day hike“.We prepared everything and started to walk at about 11 to the train station and switched trains about 3 times in total. We got off the train and then started the actual hike along fields,mountains,farms and even a canyon. We struggled to finish this 5 hour walk, but with sweat and tears, we somehow made it to the farm. So far our 1st of august experience seems pretty dim and boring but trust me it gets better… Once at the farm we all installed ourselves in a farm full of HAY, which would then become our beds that made for a fun but uncomfortable experience.  After that we ate and then we had some free time. Luckily for me, there was a ping pong table at the farm and i played there almost the whole day… even against some locals! Sadly free time was over, and ...

Yesterday we started the day with music workshops. There were different groups. In the middle of practice the camera guy came and started recording. After lunch we started preparing our country presentation. During this time we could use our phones to call our parents. All country presentations were very interesting. 13 countries were presented. After our country presentation there was a possibility of going to make sports, but I was to lazy to go, so we stayed at the house. Because is the Swiss National day we will not write about yesterday, we are sleeping in a farm, more news will come tomorrow! Elisabeth

Ready to go for a "small hike" Yesterday we travelled to Biel and we went hiking there. It was really difficult but we made a lot of breaks. When we arrived home we did a talent show, it was really funny.  Nico Break time We begin to feel our legs... Yesterday I got hicked out of the bed with loud actually good music ( the leaders are so mean ;) Breakfast was « caught caught » good.  After filling my belly we had to make sandwiches to bring with us for the hike planed. About the hike…well there is nothing much to say  then : my legs died. So I was in the « slow » group and we came 30 minutes later than the « fast group ». After having showers we had dinner. But we had also to do the chorses after dinner.  After cleaning we had a talent show and I have to say everyone has ver « interesting » talents. Then we HAD to clean our rooms and go to sleep.
