1st of august - Celebrating the Swiss National Day with a big hike

Yesterday we woke up at about 7:30 to the most boring breakfast EVER. so today was a special day because it was the only day we would sleep outside of the house , and the only day we would have a full on „2 day hike“.We prepared everything and started to walk at about 11 to the train station and switched trains about 3 times in total. We got off the train and then started the actual hike along fields, mountains, farms and even a canyon. We struggled to finish this 5 hour walk, but with sweat and tears, we somehow made it to the farm. So far our 1st of august experience seems pretty dim and boring but trust me it gets better…
Once at the farm we all installed ourselves in a farm full of HAY, which would then become our beds that made for a fun but uncomfortable experience.
After that we ate and then we had some free time.
Luckily for me, there was a ping pong table at the farm and i played there almost the whole day… even against some locals! Sadly free time was over, and now it was time for the main event.
The 1 of august fire works .
We stayed up until late at night to see them and to have some desert.
The fireworks were quite hard to see from where we were but quite amazing to see none the less.
now it was sleeping time, and the official end of Switzerlands birthday.
Good Night

Ready to start the hike

We went throught a Swiss canion

Yesterday we woke up at 7:30 and then we would go on our long hike to a farm where we would sleep the night on HAY, I did not sleep over five hours. But overall the farm was pretty fun, they had a trampoline, animals, good fresh food made there, a ping pong table, archery, and fireworks at night because it was Switzerland’s birthday! When it was time to leave I was pretty sad to go, this day was pretty fun I hope there will be more days like this.

Lunch time
Yesterday we started our two-days-hiking trip. We went to „Crémines-Zoo“ by train and started hiking there. After a few minutes we had to wait for the kitchen to bring the food and so the slow group already went uphill. The fast group took the food in their backpacks, but after some time the many gave the things to someone else, so that finally there were like about three kids, for example me and the leaders left carrying it. Then we started to hike through the canyon. It was difficult and some guys of the group didn’t stop throwing small stones and other things at us in the front, but still it was fun and very beautiful. After a long time of hiking we finally reached the farm where we would spend the night. There we had dinner and sang songs. We also had a cake because it was Jasmin’s (Queenie’s) birthday. And it was also the National Day of Switzerland so we had some firework in the evening.
It was a beautiful nice day and I think that most of us liked it.

Yesterday was fun but tiring because we went hiking and it was fun. We took the train then hiked for a while. We got to a barn where we slept for the night. It was a little hard to sleep at first but i got through it. So now we are home and relaxing.
